2018 Maruti Suzuki Ciaz Facelift has been launched in India. It is priced starting from Rs 8.19 Lakhs to Rs 10.97 Lakhs (ex-showroom Delhi). It gets minor cosmetic changes, a load of feature upgrades and a new 1.5 Litre K15B Petrol engine. Check out the details of the sedan.
Maruti Ciaz is one of the best selling sedans under Rs 10 Lakhs. It competes with the Verna, Honda City and recently launched, Toyota Yaris. Despite its popularity and lowest price amongst its competitors, it lacked a lot of features. Now, here we have the 2018 Maruti Suzuki Ciaz Facelift, which is recently launched in India. The prices of the facelift sedan start from Rs 8.19 Lakhs and go up to Rs 10.97 Lakhs (ex-showroom Delhi). It receives a lot of feature upgrades, some cosmetic updates, and a new petrol engine. Also, earlier the Small Hybrid Vehicle by Suzuki (SHVS) system was only available in the diesel variant. Now, SHVS is standard across all the petrol and diesel variants. The 2018 Maruti Suzuki Ciaz, now comes with a new 1.5 Litre K15B petrol SHVS engine and the same-old 1.3 Litre DDiS diesel engine. The 1462cc petrol engine churns out 107 BHP @ 6000 RPM and 138 Nm @ 4400 RPM. The 1248cc diesel engine churns out 88 BHP @ 4000 RPM and 200 Nm @ 1750 RPM. The petrol engine comes mated to a 5-speed MT and 4-speed AT. The diesel variant comes only with a 5-speed MT.
The petrol engine gives a mileage of 21.56 KMPL on petrol manual variant and 20.28 KMPL on petrol AT variant. The diesel variant gives a claimed mileage of 28.09 KMPL. The diesel engine mileage figures are one of the top ones in its competition.

The 2018 Maruti Suzuki Ciaz Facelift gets LED projector headlamps, LED DRLs, LED Taillights, new alloy wheels and a revised front grille on the exterior. Inside the cabin, it gets chrome inputs over the cabin, leather-wrapped steering wheel, Multi-Information Display (MID) as a standard fitment and ECO Illumination for the petrol variant. These are the design changes that the sedan receives.
Features of the 2018 Maruti Suzuki Ciaz Facelift include Push Start-Stop key, Cruise Control, Electrically Adjustable ORVMs, Key-less entry, Automatic AC, Rear AC vents, Height adjustable driver seats, tilt steering and more. Entertainment features include a 17.8 cm Touchscreen Infotainment system with Bluetooth connectivity, an inbuilt navigation system, Voice command system and Steering Mounted Audio controls.

Safety features of the 2018 Maruti Suzuki Ciaz Facelift include Automatic Headlamps with Auto Levelling, LED front fog lamps, Rear Defogger, Auto Day/Night IRVM, Reverse parking sensors with a camera, Electronic Stability Program with Hill-Hold, Seatbelt reminder and speed alert system. Standard features across all variants include Dual Front Airbags, ABS with EBD and ISOFIX mount.
Important features like Reverse parking sensors, Bluetooth Connection, Speed Alert system, seat belt reminder, Steering mounted audio controls and tilt steering are standard across all the variants of the 2018 Maruti Suzuki Ciaz Facelift.
