Ducati Scrambler 1100 is expected to launch in September. Latest reports suggest that the Superbike will cost around Rs 11.5 Lakhs (ex-showroom). Dealers have already started taking booking amounts of Rs 1 Lakhs to Rs 2 Lakhs. Scrambler 1100 will come in two variants in India.
Ducati Scrambler 1100 is ready and is expected to launch in India in this September. Earlier, we had the 800 one which looked similar to the upcoming Scrambler. Coming back to the Scrambler 1100, the dealers have started accepting the bookings for it. The booking amounts are either Rs 1 lakh or Rs 2 Lakh, depending upon the dealership. The reported price of the bike is from Rs 11.5 Lakhs up to Rs 13.5 Lakhs (ex-showroom). Globally, the bike comes in three variants – Standard, Sport and Special. While there is confirmation of the Standard and Sport variants, there are speculations about the Special variant also come to India. It gets many updates from the Scrambler 800 in terms of cosmetic upgrades, features, and a new engine. Check out more details of the upcoming bike.

The Ducati Scrambler 1100 gets a 1,079cc, L-twin motor that churns out 86 BHP at 7,500rpm of power and 88Nm at 4,750rpm of torque. The engine is paired to a 6-speed transmission and also features a ride-by-wire throttle system. The earlier one lacked a lot of things. For starters, it was less powerful at 800cc, producing 74 BHP of power and 67 Nm of torque.
Coming to the electronics, it gets a substantial upgrade from the 800cc version. The Ducati Scrambler 1100 gets ABS, cornering ABS, a four-level traction system and three riding modes – Active, Journey, and City. It gets a new headlight with an ‘X’ inside it and LED DRLs in shape of rings. Also, the instrument cluster is now updated and gets a second pod. It helps in displaying other information, which was missing the less powerful spec.

The standard variant comes in two colors – yellow and black. The Sport variant comes in a single satin-black color and the Speical comes only in Grey color. There is no much difference between the three variants, just some cosmetic differences, and different parts. Mostly, the suspension duties are different between Standard and Special and Sport. Standard and Special get 45 mm USD Forks from Marzocchi and Sport gets 48 mm USD Forks.
At this price, it takes on a lot of superbikes, naked bikes and also certain ADV bikes. Main rivals include none, because of this price bracket. But the list includes Triumph Street Triple RS, Triumph Bonneville Speedmaster, Triumph Tiger 800 and also BMW F750 GS.
