The next-generation Hyundai Creta is going to launch in India in 2020. Kleber Silva, the Brazilian artist has released some interesting renderings on the 7-seater variant of this urban SUV.
For those who are not aware, Hyundai has already commenced the development of the next-generation Creta. Recent developments suggest that the next-generation Hyundai Creta is going to launch in India something during the year 2020.
An interesting thing to note here is that the new iteration will come to India in two seating layouts. In addition to the current 5-seater variants, the 2020 Hyundai Creta will also feature a 7-seater variant.

In order to put things in perspective, here are some renderings of the 2020 Hyundai Creta (Read More). Sketched by Brazilian artist Kleber Silva, these images give us a slight hint about what the exterior aesthetics of the next-generation Creta could look like.
It is not just the exterior of the Creta which is going to take a major overhaul. The interiors will also feature significant upgrades. The design, in typical Hyundai fashion, is going to be simple and neat. At the same time, the cabin will be loaded right up to the brim with features; particularly in the top-end variant.

In terms of its engine specifications, the 2020 Hyundai Creta will employ all-new powertrain options. It will drop the existing 1.4-litre petrol, 1.6-litre petrol and the 1.6-litre diesel engines. The new Creta is going to come with a set of BS-VI complaint 1.5-litre petrol and diesel engines.
The introduction of a 7-seater variant will push the prices of the top-end variant a little higher up. This will take the new Creta close to the base variant of the Tucson. In fact, the next-generation Tucson will also have a 7-seater variant. This, in turn, will move the latter in the territory of the Santa Fe.

Apart from introducing the next-generation Creta, Hyundai has a couple of other cars in the pipeline as well. In 2019 we will see the debut of its first-ever sub-compact SUV for the Indian market. Based on the Carlino concept, this urban utility vehicle is currently in the final stages of production.
In addition to this, Hyundai is also working on the next-generation iteration of the Grand i10. This too is expected to launch in India sometime during the second half of 2019.
