Benelli has tied up with South-India based Mahavir Group for manufacturing bikes in India. Earlier, Benelli was partnering with DSK earlier. The Classic 350 starts from Rs 1.39 Lakhs and goes up to Rs 1.62 Lakhs. The Standard colour variant is priced the lowest and the recently launched Signals 350 is the top-end variant.

For a tough competition, the Imperiale 400 is expected to start from Rs 1.5 Lakhs. Unlike Classic 350, the Imperiale 400 might not have many colour options.

In the front, the Classic gets twin gas-charged shock absorbers with adjustable preload and Telescopic travel in the rear. Recently, Classic 350 got rear disc brakes as standard across all variants. However, soon, it will also get ABS as some of the other RE bikes are already equipped.

The Imperiale 400 gets telescopic forks in front and swingarm with a double shock absorber in the back. This bike uses front and rear disc brakes with ABS. After April 2019, all two-wheelers of 125cc or more displacement should compulsorily have ABS, as per the Government.
