The Dacia Duster has received a new diesel all-wheel-drive powertrain option. Priced from £15,695, the new engine and drivetrain features a new air-to-water intercooler, a higher injector pressure, new gearbox ratios and four-wheel-drive. Dacia say these additions have improved both the Duster 4X4’s performance and fuel economy.
Performance figures remain the same as the Duster dCi 4X2 at 113bhp and 260Nm of torque. Fuel economy stands at 60.1mpg, whilst emissions are rated at 123 g/km of C02. Both of these figures show an improvement over the petrol-powered Duster SCe 4X4.
Three trim levels are available across the Duster dCi 4X4 range, all of which are only available with a manual gearbox. The £15,695 Essential trim model features body coloured bumpers, air conditioning, a heated driver’s seat, DAB radio and 16-inch steel wheels.
The setup is also available in Comfort spec, available from £17,395, adds a reversing camera and parking sensors, 7-inch infotainment system with sat-nav, electric windows, heated and electrically adjustable door mirrors and 16-inch alloys.
The range-topping “Prestige” model starts at £18,695 and includes 17-inch alloys, blind spot warning, climate control, keyless entry and a multi-view camera.
