Mercedes has removed AMG Line trim from the GLC SUV’s line-up, with new models badged AMG Night Edition now on sale.
The GLC AMG Night Edition includes 19-inch alloy wheels, updated front and rear splitters, revised radiator grille, new side skirts, new roof rails and electrically-folding wing mirrors, all finished in black, of course.
Standard equipment includes LED headlamps, a panoramic sunroof, heated front seats, active parking assist, reversing camera, black leather upholstery, automatic climate control and ambient lighting in a choice of 64 colours.
Other add-ons include black ash wood trim, automatically dimming rear-view mirror and optional red seat belts.
For an extra £2,450, customers can spec the Premium Plus package, which includes keyless entry and start, chrome door handles, Burmester stereo and Mercedes COMAND infotainment system.
Prices start at £41,315 for the entry-level GLC 220d 4MATIC, rising to £42,470 for the 250d. The petrol-powered GLC 250 4MATIC is also available in AMG NIght Edition guise for £41,515.
A facelifted Mercedes GLC is due in showrooms late next year, with new hybrid technology and an updated interior.
