Hero Destini 125 comes with a 124.6cc engine. The engine delivers 8.7 BHP and 10.2 Nm of peak torque. This engine is tuned for a linear torque delivery, which gives a stable performance overall.

Destini 125 is Hero’s first scooter to feature the i3S idle stop-start technology. This system is found in Hero’s commuter bikes. If the engine is idle for more than 10 seconds, then it automatically switches off the engine. With the press of the brake and twist of acceleration, the engine switches on again.

You can disengage this feature using a switch provided on the cluster.

The claimed mileage efficiency is around 55 kmpl. Hero claims that it will provide a better overall mileage because of the i3S technology.

For braking, it uses drum brakes at both ends. It misses out on optional disc brakes, which most of its competitor offer with. However, Hero promises to equip its next 125cc sporty scooter with a standard disc brake.

Hero Destini 125 comes in total 4 colour options – Noble Red, Chestnut Bronze, Panther Black and Pearl Silver White.

As far as the competition goes, it goes up against Honda Activa 125, Suzuki Access 125 and Mahindra Gusto 125.
