KTM launched its first bike, Duke 200 in 2012. At the launch, the brand said that they will launch a new bike every year. KTM has managed to do it more-or-less. Now, it has a total of 5 bikes in its lineup and is going to add 3 more very soon. KTM Duke 125 and Duke 790 are going to launch in a couple of months. By mid-2019, the dual-purpose 390 Adventure will also be launched. While there are some other bikes as well, which are rumoured to launch in India. So far, KTM India has enjoyed a successful run in India. The manufacturer started its Indian innings with just one model, the KTM 200 Duke. The naked bike was quick to garner success and was followed by the launch of three more models – 390 Duke, RC200 and RC390. Recently, KTM India came up with new generation Duke models, which saw the manufacturer launching the latest versions of 200 Duke and Duke 390 in India. It even came up with the new KTM 250 Duke. The company now plans to launch five new bikes in India in 2017-2018. Here are all the details on their launch, price and specifications.

KTM 390 Adventure

The KTM 390 Adventure is likely to launch in India by the end of current financial year. It’s expected to make its India debut at the Auto Expo 2018. The 390 Adventure is easily the most awaited of all upcoming KTM bikes in India. The 390 Adventure is based on the 390 Duke but carries several updates to become a worthy adventure tourer. Prices could start around Rs 2.3 lakh. The 390 Adventure, once launched in India, will become the only adventure-tourer in its segment. Thanks to a front fairing with a large windscreen, the Adventure 390 should be perfect for high speed runs on winding roads.

KTM Duke 790

KTM revealed the new 790 Duke at the 2017 EICMA motorcycle show in Milan. The new street-naked will soon get into production and launch in many markets worldwide. The company is promoting the new KTM Duke 790 as the ‘ultimate street weapon’. This is the first-ever motorcycle from the company to boast a parallel-twin engine. While there’s nothing official about the new motorcycle’s India launch prospects, the product is likely to rival the likes of Triumph Street Triple S and Kawasaki Z900. The D790 is still in a pre-production stage. However, a mid-2018 launch in European markets looks very likely. KTM Duke 790 India debut is likely to take place at the Auto Expo 2018.

KTM Duke 125

KTM has been exporting the Duke 125 from India to various countries abroad. In India, the majority of the people fail to think beyond mileage and commuter motorcycles. So, this is one of the main reasons, why KTM never launched a 125c performance oriented bike. The Duke 125 comes with a 124.6cc liquid cooled engine that taps out 15 BHP and 11.8 Nm of torque. It will copy its design cues from the 1290 Superduke. It is expected to be priced around Rs 1.1 Lakhs and launching is expected in the first 1-2 months of 2019.

KTM 390 Scrambler

Yes, KTM will also launch a Scrambler motorcycle that is based on the 390 Duke. The upcoming KTM Scrambler motorcycle is likely to make its public debut at EICMA 2017 and will be produced at Bajaj Auto Ltd’s Chakan facility. It will probably launch in India by the end of 2018. Thanks to a long travel front suspension, on-off road tires and a punch motor, this bike will be sufficiently capable off the road. Dimensionally, it will be similar to the Duke 390.

KTM RC250

The upcoming KTM RC250 is to the 250 Duke what the RC200 and RC 390 are to 200 Duke and 390 Duke, respectively. Now that the Duke 250 is already in India, it’s just a matter of time before the manufacturer launches even the RC250 here. Expect the launch to happen by May 2018. Prices could start at Rs 1.9 lakh. Powering this bike will be a Fuel-injected, single-cylinder, 248.8cc engine that will come mated to a 6-speed Manual Transmission. We’re hoping to see even this motorcycle at the next Auto Expo.

KTM 690 Duke

While it’s true that the Duke 690 will eventually launch in India, KTM has so far refrained from divulging any details on the launch date of one the most anticipated of all upcoming new KTM bikes in India. The 690 Duke has a top speed of 195 KMPH and offers three driving modes. It enjoys a high ground clearanc eof 192 mm. It gets 43mm upside down WP forks atthe front and a WP monoshock absorber with Pro-Lever linkage at the rear. When launched expect this bike to cost upward of Rs 4 lakh.

KTM 1050 Adventure

Yes, the might KTM 1050 Adventure is India-bound. Basically a replacement for the 990 Adventure, the new motorcycle will be produced in India. Hence, it could come with a sticker price of Rs 10 lakh only. The upcoming KTM motorcycle in India offers multiple riding modes. Suspension duties are courtesy of USD WP forks at front and WP monoshock at the rear. The brakes come from Brembo. Powering this motorcycle is a 1050cc 75 degree V-twin LC8 engine that outputs 95 HP. in India, this motorcycle will go on to rival the liese of Triumph Tiger Explorer, Kawasaki Versys 1000 and Suzuki V-Strom.

KTM 1190 Adventure R

KTM 1190 Adventure R will become the flagship product of KTM India on its launch late next year. The new 1190 Adventure R benefits from Bosch’s new motorcycle stability control (MSC) system. Powering this motorcycle is a 1195cc, 2-cylinder, 4-stroke, spark-ignition engine, 75° V arrangement, liquid-cooled engine that sends power to the rear wheel thru a 6-speed Manual Transmission. The engine develops a max power of 148 BHP @ 9500 rpm and a peak torque of 125 NM @ 7500 rpm. This adventure bike has a fuel tank of 23-litres. It’s expected to have a sticker price of Rs 14 lakh in India. This one here has to be the most promising of all the upcoming KTM bikes in India.
