CFMoto To Soon Launch a fully-fared 250cc Motorcycle called the 250SR!

The CFMoto 250SR is based on the 250NK naked roadster and is essentially a fully-fared sibling of the same. Designed by Kiska House, it sure has the looks.

CFMoto started operations in India a few months ago and they already have a couple of naked and semi-fared motorcycles in their India lineup. Now, a fresh image of a fully fared motorcycle from CFMoto called the 250SR has surfaced on the internet. The leaked image shows an almost production-ready form which means a launch is imminent.

The CFMoto 250SR is a quarter-liter motorcycle, a fully-fared cousin of the 250NK naked roadster that CFMoto does not sell in India. The leaked image is reportedly from a Chinese patent application and it gives us a look how the final model will look like. And from what we can see from the image, it sure looks like a handsome motorcycle.

The design is quite international and it will take on the very best of the Japanese and European motorcycles in this segment. And the look is no surprise as CFMoto is associated with Kiska Design, the same design house that is responsible for penning down many KTM motorcycles in recent years. And still the look is quite distinctive.

The CFMoto 250SR will be based on the 250NK and like its naked sibling, it will be powered by the same 249 cc, single-cylinder, four-valve, liquid-cooled engine which puts out 26.5 bhp at 9,000 rpm and 22 Nm of peak torque at 7,500 rpm. However, this being a flly-fared motorcycle, it will certainly weigh more than the 151 kg kerb weight of the 250NK. It will be more around the 160-165 kg mark.

Other cycle parts are expected to include upside down front forks, Brembo brake calipers, and the motorcycle is also expected to come equipped with a full-colour TFT instrument panel. In India, CFMoto operates through Bengaluru-based AMW motorcycles and currently have four motorcycles in their lineup – the 300NK, the 650NK, the 650MT and the 650GT. The four bikes are available for purchase at AMW dealerships in Hyderabad, Bengaluru, Mumbai, Pune and Chennai.
