This new EV from Nissan promises a smooth driving, greater driving range and improved performance.
Electric cars are the future and no there is not a single doubt that you may even see supercars going electric. And talking about Nissan, it already has Leaf. It’s a reliable electric car.
However, Nissan is also working on a new EV that gets 4-Wheel Drive and comes with controlled technology. Nissan has already developed a test car for the same.
The 4-wheel drive EV with controlled technology from Nissan is a high powered car which is better for the future of the company. It is based on the Leaf e+ which is another electric car from Nissan.

The recently developed test car carries chassis controlled technology and the all-wheel-drive system gets powered by high motors at the front and the rear. Nissan says that the all-wheel-drive controlled system on the electric cars of the company will take their EVs at a whole different level.
Talking about the specification then it gets high powered motor at both the front and rear ends. And this result in a maximum power output of 227 kW which accounts for roughly 304 bhp. The peak torque is recorded at 680 Nm. The driving range is not yet out but we expect it to be a little more than the Leaf e+.
Another highlight of the four-wheel-drive EV is that it can tackle any road condition which eventually heightens the driving experience and confidence. There is also a regenerative rear motor braking to the usual front motor regenerative braking so the EV provides the maximum comfort.
The braking of the car is buttery smooth too as each tyre gets its independent brake control. The car also gets 17-inch rally style wheels with front sticking to 215/55R and rear 235/50R.

The interiors of the EV will receive a similar dashboard design like in the Leaf. It gets a large 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system and is expected to come with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto as connectivity features.
Takao Asami, Senior Vice President for Research and Advanced Engineering at Nissan said, “The new electric-drive four-wheel-control technology now being developed integrates Nissan’s electric propulsion and 4WD control technologies with our chassis control technology to achieve a huge leap in acceleration, cornering and braking performance, on par with the latest sports cars”.
