The deliveries of the Revolt RV 400 have now commenced across Delhi, as the first bike is already out. The RV 400 is priced at Rs 98,999 (ex-showroom Delhi).
The deliveries of India’s first electric motorcycle, Revolt RV 400 have finally commenced in Delhi. The first unit has been delivered to the customer with a green number plate and Delhi registration.
The Revolt RV 400 and RV 300 can be bought under two plans. Either you pay the full amount of Rs 98,999 for the RV 400 or Rs 84,999 for the RV 300 (ex-showroom prices). Or you can avail a monthly subscription of Rs 3,499 for the RV 400 or Rs 2,999 for the RV 300 for 36 months.
The on-road prices of RV 400 go up to Rs 1.26 Lakhs and that of RV 300 go up to Rs 1.11 Lakhs. If seen, the prices are in par with many 160cc sporty commuters like the Suzuki Gixxer 155, Yamaha FZ-S V3, TVS Apache RTR 160 4V and Honda CB Hornet 160R.

The bookings for the Revolt motorcycles in Pune have also commenced. The deliveries for Pune are likely to commence in November. After this, we expect Revolt to spread out its operations to Bangalore, Hyderabad, Chennai, Mumbai and Ahmedabad.
RV 400 electric motorcycle comes with a 156 kms range and is capable of reaching a top speed up to 85 km/hr. It uses a 3kW electric motor with a 72V/3kWh battery lithium-ion battery pack. Further, you get three riding modes with different ranges and different top speeds as follows:
- Eco – 156 kms –45 Km/hr
- Normal – 110 kms – 65 km/hr
- Sport – 80 kms – 85 km/hr
RV 300 comes with a 180 kms range, but can only reach up to 65 km/hr. It uses a smaller 1.5 kW electric motor with a 72V/1.5 kWh lithium-ion battery. Here also you get three riding modes with different ranges and top speeds:
- Eco – 180 kms – 25 km/hr
- Normal – 110 kms – 45 km/hr
- Sport – 80 kms – 65 km/hr

For charging, you get three options as well. You can remove the battery, carry it home and charge it over a normal three-pin 15 AMP plug. You also have the option of directly charging it through wall chargers. Lastly, you can directly head out to a swap station or get batteries delivered at your home for a nominal cost.
