Here is the list of top 10 selling cars in India for the first half of this Financial Year, wiz. April-September period.
For the period between April-September 2019, we now see some surprising entries in the top 10 selling cars list. As always, the list is dominated by Maruti Suzuki and the other cars in the list are from Hyundai.
Talking about the sales in H1 FY 2019-20, the list of top 10 selling cars has Maruti Suzuki Alto at the top place as usual. Surprising entries are by Maruti Ertiga and Maruti Eco which have been experiencing comparatively low sales for the past couple months.

As we see, Maruti Alto has gained the first position with 94,672 units sold in six months. The second spot is taken by Maruti Dzire, followed by Swift and Baleno. Usually, even in the monthly sales, these four and the WagonR always take up the top five positions.
The sixth rank is secured by Maruti Eeco, with Maruti selling 59,679 units in the April-September period. Following it, is the Hyundai Elite i20, Maruti Vitara Brezza, Hyundai Grand i10 and Maruti Ertiga.
We are expecting the Honda Amaze, Renault Kwid, Tata Tiago and Hyundai Venue to have positioned the next 4-5 positions. In the monthly sales, Honda Amaze sometimes manages to take up the tenth spot. On the other hand, Hyundai Venue is competing with Maruti Vitara Brezza and the latest Kia Seltos for the best-selling SUV title.

Meanwhile, for the month of September 2019, the top 10 selling cars list starts with Maruti Dzire at the top. As told earlier, Hyundai Venue has just managed to secure the last rank with 7942 units sold. It had a close cut with the Kia Seltos, of which 7754 units were sold.
