KTM is entering the Indian adventure motorcycle space with two new launches. It has already unveiled the 390 Adventure for India last week at the EICMA 2019, while the 250 Adventure will also be launched soon.
It is widely believed that KTM is launching its adventure motorcycle at the India Bike Week, which is supposed to happen between December 6-7. Ahead of that, the bookings for the KTM 390 Adventure have commenced unofficially.

The 390 Adventure is based on the 390 Duke, using the same engine and frame as well. The 373cc liquid-cooled DOHC engine will be BS-6 compliant on the Adventure. The motor produces 43 BHP and 37 Nm of peak torque in its current state. The BS-6 engine might come with the same power figures but with slightly reduced fuel efficiency.
The suspension setup is handled by 43mm USD forks at the front and a WP-sourced pre-load adjustable monoshock with rebound damping at the back. For braking, you rely on a 340mm front disc brake and a 240mm rear disc brake with dual-channel ABS as standard.
For performance aid, KTM is offering ride-by-wire technology as well as a Supermoto mode. In this mode, the experienced riders can turn off the ABS and traction control. Other features include split LED headlamps, a digital TFT colour instrument console with Bluetooth connection and much more.
