Hero Motocorp has launched the BS-6 compliant HF Deluxe with a 100cc engine. The prices start off at Rs 55,925 (ex-showroom).
While it was widely reported that Hero will be discontinuing its 100cc motorcycles, the manufacturer has now launched the BS-6 compliant HF Deluxe. The popular workhorse now gets the i3S start-stop system as its biggest highlight.
BS-6 Hero HF Deluxe will be available in two variants – Self Start Alloy Wheels and Selto-Start Alloy Wheel with i3S. The regular variant is priced at Rs. 55,925 and the i3S variant demands Rs. 57,250 (both prices ex-showroom).
HF Deluxe gets a new 100cc engine with programmed fuel injection (PGM-FI). The motor is capable of producing 7.94 BHP @ 8000 RPM and a peak torque of 8.05 Nm @ 6000 RPM. The bike comes paired with a 4-speed gearbox.

With the addition of fuel injection, the BS-6 Hero HF Deluxe will offer 9% more mileage. The estimated fuel efficiency of the bike should be around 80 kmpl now. With a fuel tank capacity of 10.5 Litres, the bike should offer a riding range of around 750-800 kms.
The motorcycle also gets Hero’s i3S technology, which is useful is saving mileage. With the i3S switched on, the engine is switched off if idle for 10 seconds. With the press of the clutch, the engine resumes again.
Suspension setup remains the same with telescopic forks at the front and swingarm with 2 step adjustable hydraulic shock absorbers at the back. For braking, drum brakes at both the ends with CBS (Combi Brake System) as standard.

The BS-6 HF Deluxe is available in new colour options including, Black with Red, Black with Purple, Black with Grey and in two new colour schemes of Techno Blue and Heavy Grey with Green. It is the first BS-6 compliant 100cc motorcycle in India.
