This is the new MINI Sidewalk Convertible. The £34,215 soft top will go on sale in March, limited to just 150 units in the UK.
The Sidewalk gains a host of unique cosmetic touches to set it apart from the rest of the MINI Convertible range. New paint and wheels - ‘Deep Laguna’ metallic and 17-inch two-tone alloys - are the most striking features from the outside. ‘Sidewalk’ badging on the front wings and a pair of bonnet stripes, complete with a textured effect highlighted by pinstriping, are further exclusive touches.

The fabric roof is available with a patterned arrow design, and electrically opens in 18 seconds to reveal an interior trimmed in dark grey leather. It’s highlighted by piping, stitching and interior trim panels that complement the exterior’s blue shade, while each seat gets a yellow highlight running through its centre. The steering wheel also features Sidewalk badging at its base.

The limited edition model is based on the Cooper S. That means power comes from a 189bhp 2.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine, which here is mated as standard to a seven-speed dual clutch automatic gearbox.
Standard equipment includes an 8.8-inch touchscreen with satellite navigation and a reversing camera, wireless charging, heated seats, parking sensors all round, a Harmon Kardon sound system and a head-up display.
