Tata is offering the Nexon EV in three variants – XM, XZ and XZ+ Luxury. These are just like variants of the regular Nexon. The base Nexon EV XM will come with features like automatic climate control, two drive modes for the motor (Drive and Sport), keyless entry and push-button start. The XZ+ trim adds dual-tone colour options, 16-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels, a 7.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a rear camera, and a leather-wrapped steering wheel. The top-spec XZ+ LUX variant will come with a sunroof, leatherette seats, and automatic wipers and headlights.

The Nexon EV gets a 30.2 kWh lithium-ion IP67 rated battery pack with liquid cooling. The electric motor is able to punch out 95 kW (129 BHP) and 245 Nm of peak torque, with a single-speed transmission. You can also select between two driving modes – Drive and Sport. In the sport mode, you get a power boost of up to 60%. Tata Motors is yet to reveal the official range, but they say that it will be above 300 kms.
