Where Has MG Installed Public Fast Charging Stations For The ZS EV?

MG ZS EV is only available in five cities and the manufacturer has successfully installed 10 fast charging stations in these cities.

MG has launched the ZS EV in India, with prices starting at Rs 20.88 Lakhs (ex-showroom). The bookings for the EV have been closed now as the total orders have touched 2,800 units. We have already driven the ZS EV and you can find its review at the end.

MG has now successfully installed 10 superfast charging stations for ZS EV across the country. These superfast chargers will only be available at select MG dealerships and not at every dealership. Here is the list:

  • MG West Delhi (Shivaji Nagar)
  • Lajpat Nagar IV
  • Gurgaon Sector 15(32 Milestone)
  • Noida Sector 8
  • Thane Ghodbunder Road
  • Bangalore ORR (Narayana Pura)
  • Bangalore Electronic City
  • Mumbai West (Jogeshwari East)
  • Hyderabad (Jubilee Hills)
  • Ahmedabad (Makarba)

Delhi NCR, Mumbai and Bangalore get multiple charging stations, whereas Hyderabad and Ahmedabad get only one. You can book the ZS EV through MG’s official website or through these dealerships as well. They will be sold through the above-mentioned dealerships only.

These superfast chargers will take 50 minutes to charge the EV up to 80%. MG is also offering a standard AC wall charger for home and offices. It will take around 6-8 hours to fully charge the EV. Lastly, MG is also offering a free portable charger that can be put on any three-pin point. It will take 19 hours to fully charge the EV.

MG ZS EV gets a 44.5 kWh lithium-ion battery pack that is good to run for 340 kms, as claimed. The electric motor is capable of producing 143 PS and 353 Nm of peak torque, with three driving modes and three levels of regenerative braking.

The ZS EV is available in two variants – Excite and Exclusive – priced at Rs 20.88 Lakhs and Rs 23.58 Lakhs. The base-variant comes in cheaper than the Kona by Rs 3 Lakhs. Further, Excite will get two colour options and Exclusive will get three options.
