Our dealership sources have confirmed that they have started receiving units of 2020 Ford Endeavour and the launch is scheduled to happen in the coming days.
2020 Ford Endeavour is set to launch in India in the coming days. The updated SUV has already started reaching dealerships and the bookings have also commenced. The new Endy is packed with a new engine and gearbox.
The SUV will now sport a new 2.0 Litre turbo-diesel engine, replacing both the 2.2 Litre and 3.2 Litre engines. The engine will produce 170 PS and 420 Nm of peak torque. This makes it more powerful than the 2.2 Litre diesel engine but a lot more underpowered than the bigger 3.2 Litre engine.
Further, the 2020 Ford Endeavour will be paired with a 10-speed torque converter AT. This replaces the 6-speed AT in the BS4 version. Like earlier, this engine will be offered with a rear-wheel-drive as well and 4X4 configurations.

There would be no cosmetic upgrades to the BS6 version. New features will include LED headlamps and the Ford Pass technology. The latter allows the owner to get remotely unlock the car, start the car and put on some features too.
The SUV already comes loaded with many premium features like launch assist, panoramic sunroof, semi-park assist, hill assist control, electronic rear differential locking and traction control. No doubt it is one of the most feature-loaded SUV in the class.
Safety features that come with Endeavour include Front and Rear Parking sensors with camera, Seven (Front, Side And Knee) Airbags, Rear Parking Camera, Tyre Pressure Monitor, Crash Sensor and more.

Reports say that 2020 Ford Endeavour will be priced around Rs 40 Lakhs (on-road), basically making it almost at par with the BS4 prices. It will continue to rival the likes of Volkswagen Tiguan, Toyota Fortuner and Mahindra Alturas.
