Hyundai Grand i10 Nios Turbo Petrol has started reaching dealerships and bookings have also begun. The Nios Turbo is based on the Sportz trim.

Hyundai Grand i10 Nios Turbo was showcased at the Auto Expo 2020. Now, reports suggest that Hyundai has silently launched the hatch and has already started reaching dealerships. Its prices have also been leaked.

Hyundai Grand i10 Nios Turbo will come in two variants – Single Tone and Dual Tone – priced at Rs 7.68 Lakhs and Rs 7.73 Lakhs (Ex-showroom), respectively. Nios Turbo is based on the Sportz trim and not on the top-spec Asta.

Both the Turbo variants are now the costliest ones in the i10 Nios Petrol lineup. The bookings for them have commenced across all dealerships, unofficially. Hyundai is likely to make an official announcement regarding the same by in the coming days.

Nios Turbo uses a 1.0 Litre three-cylinder turbo-petrol engine. Originally, the engine is from Venue but has been heavily detuned for Aura and Nios. Instead of 115 PS/172 Nm on Venue, the engine now produces 100 PS and 172 Nm of peak torque.

Hyundai is only offering a 5-speed manual gearbox with the Grand i10 Nios Turbo. Further, there are some cosmetic tweaks like sportier bumpers, new alloy wheels, blacked-out radiator grille and Turbo badging over the body.

Inside the cabin, there’s all-black interior theme and nothing different. It remains the most feature-rich hatch in its segment, with wireless charging, rear parking camera, auto AC, rear AC vents, touchscreen infotainment with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay and a driver rearview monitor.

The price range of Grand i10 Nios starts off at Rs 5.05 Lakhs up to Rs 7.73 Lakhs for the petrol and turbo-petrol variants. The diesel variants are priced between 6.77 Lakhs to Rs 8.04 Lakhs (all prices ex-showroom). As of now, there is no other hatch in the segment offered with a turbo-petrol engine.
