Since most of the manufacturers have stopped the production, the car and bike deliveries promised from the second week of March have been postponed.
Most of the automakers, including two-wheeler and four-wheeler manufacturers, have decided to halt the productions until 31st March. They have completely shut down the plants to ensure the safety of their workers from the coronavirus outbreak.
Because of this, the deliveries of car and bike have been delayed by at least a month. Most of the buyers who were supposed to get their vehicles delivered post the second week of March, have been affected. A lot of buyers have taken up on the internet to complain about it.
First of all, since the productions have been stopped, there are no new car and bike deliveries happening. Some of the dealers have dried up the existing stock and will be getting new units once the production resumes on the 1st of April. Here is the list of manufacturers who have shut down their plants.

As of now, most of the states are observing a complete lockdown till 31st March. Till this date, only important services will be operational and the rest of them have been closed. As a result of this, the dealerships have also taken a hit.
Dealerships are saying that from the last two weeks, the footfall of buyers has reduced. A lot of dealers have shut their showrooms till the end of March. As a result, buyers are not able to contact the showrooms for the exact date of their deliveries.
We talked to a couple of dealerships and some suggested that the deliveries will resume post 10th of April. Some of those open, are still offering immediate deliveries if they have the stock. In case if you want immediate delivery, you may have to just go with whatever variant or colour or vehicle is available.

For example, MG has decided to commence home deliveries of cars with complete sanitization. Manufacturers like Kia and Renault were the first ones to report the unsuccessful deliveries in India. Amongst two-wheelers like Bajaj, Suzuki and Hero Motocorp, you can find limited stock available on an immediate basis, if the dealer is open.
