The starting price of the BS6 Mahindra Mojo 300 ABS is about Rs 10,000 more than the BS4 model but it also gets new color, with which the price increases further. It has also considerably lost its power and torque figures.
Mahindra opened bookings for the BS6 Mojo 300 ABS about a couple of weeks ago and now, a leaked document has revealed the price of the motorcycle. The BS6 Mahindra Mojo 300 ABS will be available from a starting price of Rs 1.99 lakh and it goes up to Rs 2.11 lakh. The price varies depending on the color option you choose. Here’s a detailed price list of the BS6 Mojo 300 ABS along with its colors.

The motorcycle continues to be powered by the same 295cc, single-cylinder, fuel-injected and liquid-cooled motor. In BS6 guise, the motor produces 25.35bhp at 7,300 rpm and 25.96Nm of torque at 6,000 rpm. With the BS6 update, power on the Mojo has gone down by 0.94bhp while the torque too has gone down considerably by 2.04 Nm. That’s quite some loss in numbers. The engine comes mated to a 6-speed gearbox.
The BS4-spec Mojo 300 ABS was priced at Rs 1.89 lakh. The base price of the motorcycle has thus gone up by Rs 10,000 or more, depending on the color options you choose. By now, we have come to expect such hikes with BS6 updates. The BS6 Mojo 300 ABS now available in these four colors – Garnet Black, Ruby Red (dual tone), Black Pearl, and Red Agate (dual tone). The former two get red pin stripes on the wheels while the latter two come with all-black wheels.

The Garnet Balck color option on the BS6 Mojo 300 ABS also get the exposed frame and swingarm painted in red which adds a little more contrast to the look. Other design and styling bits on the Mojo 300 ABS remain unchanged including its signature headlamp cowl with dual-pod cluster. The fuel tank is quite chiselled and there’s ‘300 ABS’ lettering on the side panel. The Mojo continues with its single piece seating layout. Its not the most good looking motorcycles around but the sizable pipe looks quite good indeed.

Other mechanical bits on the Mojo 300 ABS remain unchanged as well. The handle bars however come painted in silver instead of the all-black finish as earlier. Suspension duties are handled by telescopic forks at the front which Mahindra says is lighter than before and the rear gets monoshock absorbers. Braking duties are handled by 320 mm disc at the front and a 240 mm disc at the rear, equipped with dual-channel ABS. The Mojo’s prime rival is the Bajaj Dominar 250 which is priced at Rs 1.6 lakh.
