With some weight shedding, a stunning white and blue livery and some other physical modifications, this KTM RC 200 looks sensational and ready to race on a track. The only thing missing are slick tires.
The KTM RC200 is one of the most focused beginner’s sports bike in the country, one with which you can even do tracks days and come out with a smile. The exhilarating performance of the 200cc engine coupled with an extremely agile chassis make the KTM RC 200 like no other in its segment. The Bajaj Pulsar RS200 shares the same engine but it clearly more touring focused. Honestly, the RC200 does not have a direct competitor in its segment as it is quite aggressive in nature and also a little more premium than others in its category.
And that makes the RC 200 a very popular subject for modifications and customizations. Just like most other KTMs, there are many examples of well modified RC 200s in our country but the one we have here today has really got our hearts racing. This has to be one of the most tastefully modified KTM RC 200s we have seen in a while and it sure looks very very fast. In fact, in this spec, it looks like it has specifically been built for the tracks. Only thing that it seems missing are some slick tires.
There are reasons why we think it has been specifically built for the track as there has been plenty of weight shedding. The first thing that strikes you is that the seats have been completely removed. You are sure not going to ride that on the road, are you? The tail section is now completely bespoke and all unnecessary elements like the registration plate holder, indicators, mirrors, rear foot-pegs, mug-gaurds, all have been thrown away. What’s also really cool about this RC 200 is its face with a fairing over the headlamp section for even better aerodynamics.

The other thing that really strikes you about this KTM is its stunning blue and white livery. Yes, KTMs look rather sexy in their orange and black paint schemes but we are sure not missing it here. The white and blue shades do remind us of the KTM Tech 3 MotoGP RC16 colours and the competition number 88 perhaps pays tribute to Portuguese rider Miguel Oliveira. We must say that the graphics on the livery has been very well used as well.

There however does not seem to be any mechanical changes to this RC 200. That means this RC 200 is powered by a 199.5 cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled fuel-injected engine that produces a maximum power output of 25hp at 10,000 rpm and 19.2 Nm of peak torque at 8,000 rpm. These numbers are by the way the best in its segment. The engine comes mated to a 6-speed gearbox. The braking and suspension components of this modified RC 200 also seem identical to the stock motorcycle. This thing is sure a looker when it goes down the track.
