Amidst the lockdown, owner of this Yamaha R1 was caught for speeding on the roads of Bangalore. He was going at a speed of nearly 300 km/hr!

The problem in India is that our roads are not suitable for driving a superbike or a supercar. With 8-lane expressways carrying a speed limit of just 100 km/hr, it becomes difficult for owners of several premium cars like Porsche, Ferrari or for that matter, even a Mercedes. So, usually, you have to go on a national highway for speeding up.

The owner of this Yamaha R1 tried reaching the top speed of his bike recently. We would expect him to do it on a national highway or such, but instead, he chose the roads of Bangalore. The rider shared a video of him touching nearly 300 km/hr on his R1 on the city roads. He actually does that on a flyover in a city which is known for its traffic snarls.

Later, they found his video going viral on the social media. Quickly, the police took matter in their hands and caught the rider.

His bike was confiscated and he was booked under several IPC sections. You can see him literally crossing rickshaws and other two wheelers in the video while even crossing 150 to 200 km/hr. While the driver wanted to show the world his skills and cool attitude, he didn’t know what this would do to him.

By going at such a high speed, the owner of this Yamaha R1 would his life as well as other motorists’ lives in grave danger. If he would have crashed the bike at this speed, there’s no chance of him being saved. Its a good thing that the police swiftly caught the rider before he would have attempted this again.
