Under the budget of Rs 4 lakh, you will be able to get the STD or the STD (O) trims of the S-Presso which only come with a 5-speed manual gearbox. There’s also an AMT on offer but that’s a little more expensive.

The engine produces 54PS and 72Nm of torque and comes mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox. Under Rs 4 lakh, Renault has three variants of the Kwid – STD, RXE and RXL – priced at Rs 2.92 lakh, Rs 3.62 lakh and Rs 3.92 lakh respectively.

The Datsun Redigo is powered by the same 0.8L, three-cylinder petrol engine as the Renault Kwid and produces the same 54PS and 72Nm of torque.The Redigo also comes mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox.

You also get a bigger 1.2L petrol engine which is also more powerful with 68PS and 104Nm of torque. This too comes mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox.
