With the BS6 update and facelift, Honda has also added several features to each of the individual trims of the Jazz. The manual variants are now equipped at par with the automatic variants and then there’s the new features as well.
Honda just launched the BS6 Jazz facelift in India for a starting price of Rs 7.50 lakh, going all the way up to Rs 9.74 lakh. There are many changes on the BS6 Jazz, most notably of which is perhaps the styling. It looks a lot more modern now with the all-LED lighting system and there are other changes to the soft-plastic parts as well. The BS6 Jazz also gets a few more features over the outgoing car, some of which have been added to the base and mid-spec trims as well. The BS6 Honda Jazz will be available in three variants – V, VX and ZX – and here are the features that are new on each variant.
Honda Jazz V
The base V variant of the Honda Jazz gets a revised front grille with separate LED DRLs (different from the top-spec trim), rear parking sensors, chrome ring on steering-mounted controls, and a jack-knife retractable key. The cruise control feature now has been made standard across the range which was previously only available on the automatic variants. It is thus now available even on the base manual variant. Apart from that, the base V variant of the Jazz carries forward other features from before like LED tail lamps, a 5-inch entertainment system with Bluetooth connectivity, steering-mounted audio control, and keyless entry with push button stop/start.
Honda Jazz VX
The mid-spec VX trim also carries forward the new features from the base V trim like cruise control for the manual variants, rear parking sensors, and chrome ring on steering-mounted controls. It additional now gets a soft touchpad dashboard and few more features that were previously only available on the automatic variants like Honda’s Smart Key system with push button stop/start. The mid-spec VX trim otherwise continues with features such as the 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, voice commands, electrically folding ORVMs, and a leather-wrapped steering wheel.

Honda Jazz ZX
The top-spec ZX variant of the Jazz is where the new changes are most visible. On the outside, the it is the ZX variant that comes with the new all-LED headlamps with LED DRLs, the new LED front fog lamps and of course, the one-touch electric sunroof as well. In fact, the Honda Jazz is now the only hatchback in the segment to come with a sunroof. The visual differences on the outside also make it look like a much more modern hatchback.

Under the hood, the BS6 Jazz is now a petrol-only model. The 1.2 Litre four-cylinder i-VTEC engine produces the same 90 PS and 110 Nm of peak torque. Transmission options continue to remain the same as earlier – a 5-speed manual stick and a CVT gearbox. Yes, it continues to get paddle shifters for the CVT variants. The fuel efficiency of manual variants is rated at 16.6 kmpl whereas that of CVT variants is 17.1 kmpl. The new Jazz will come in five colour options including Radiant Red Metallic, Lunar Silver Metallic, Platinum White Pearl, Modern Steel Metallic and Golden Brown.
