Tata is offering a heavy discount of up to Rs 1 Lakh on the BS6 facelifted Harrier for the month of September. Check out the complete offer.

Tata Harrier is currently the best selling SUV in its segment, replacing MG Hector recently itself. It has a huge popularity for being one of the strongest and best looking SUVs in the space. To continue with the popularity, Tata is offering huge discounts of up to Rs 1 Lakh on the SUV for the month of September.

There’s Rs 25,000 cash discount, Rs 40,000 exchange bonus and Rs 15,000 corporate discounts. Additionally, at dealership level, benefits and further cash discounts of up to Rs 20,000 are being offered. With this 20,000, you can also take official accessories or otherwise, take a flat out discount.

The 1 Lakh discount offer is for the MT and AT variants both, however excluding the Dark Edition variants. For those variants, there is an exchange bonus of Rs 40,000 and corporate discount of Rs 15,000. However, there’s no cash discount for the Dark Edition variants. That includes both the MT and AT variants as well.

The facelifted BS6 Harrier gets a 2.0 Litre turbo-diesel engine that is good for 170 PS and 350 Nm of peak torque. Now, it comes with a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed torque converter automatic gearbox. There are reports of it getting a 1.5 Litre turbocharged petrol engine as well, probably towards the end of this year.

Features onboard the SUV include a 7-inch infotainment system with JBL 9 Speaker System, semi-digital instrument cluster, cruise control, electric adjustment for driver seat, panoramic sunroof, drive modes, door-pillar mounted rear AC vents, LED headlamps and much more. Safety features include six airbags, ABS with EBD, traction control, rear parking sensors and rear parking camera.

Prices of BS6 Harrier start off at Rs 13.84 Lakhs going all the way up to Rs 20.30 Lakhs (Ex-showroom). In comparison to MG Hector and Mahindra XUV500, Harrier is costlier by over 2 Lakhs. However, Hector fails to offer a diesel-auto combination. Mahindra XUV500 recently relaunched the diesel-auto variants.
