While the new Hyundai Creta may be an SUV with a couple of off-roading technology, it still is not one hardcore machine. Yes, it can take upon some damaged roads or mild off-roading. As you can see in this video, the Hyundai Creta wades through bumper level of water. That way you now get an idea of its water wading capacity as well. This aspect is very important in a car and especially in a country like India. Where you have floods reaching an alarming level, even if the water enters your exhaust system, it is totalled.

The owner here has the Creta SX(O) Diesel Manual variant which comes with all the bells and whistles. It gets drive modes and traction control as standard for the top-end variant. The engine is a 1.5 Litre turbocharged unit that produces 115 PS and 250 Nm of peak torque, paired with a 6-speed MT and a 6-speed AT.
Other features on this variant include a 10.25 inch touchscreen infotainment system with Bluelink internet car technology, panoramic sunroof, digital instrument cluster, smart air purifier, LED headlamps, cruise control, reclining rear seats and much more. Even its base petrol variant offers the same touchscreen infotainment without the internet car technology though.
Safety bits include six airbags, ABS with EBD, traction control, drive modes, ESP, rear parking camera and rear parking sensors. Prices of the new Creta commence at Rs 9.89 Lakhs going up to Rs 17.20 Lakhs (ex-showroom). It also comes with a petrol engine and a turbo petrol engine, the latter being paired with a 7-speed DCT.
