Honda has unveiled the H’Ness CB350 for India, which will enter the competition of retro-styled cruisers along with RE Classic 350 and Jawa.
Honda’s second launch in the past month is the new H’Ness CB350. After speculating Honda’s entry in the cruiser segment for a long time, we finally have one which is priced competitively and also looks beautiful. Its engine specifications, features and even pricing has been revealed. The deliveries are expected to commence later this month, while the bookings are now open at BigWing Premium showroom.
Honda H’Ness CB350 will be a rival to the likes of Royal Enfield Classic 350, Jawa Motorcycles, Mahindra Mojo 300 and Bajaj Dominar 250. Till now, the Classic 350 remains the best seller in the segment and the arrival of CB350 is surely going to affect it. For a very similar price range, you get a motorcycle from Honda that has more features, is slightly more powerful and has a fresh design.

CB350 gets a 348cc air-cooled single-cylinder engine that is good for 21 BHP and 30 Nm of peak torque. In comparison, the Classic 350 produces 19 BHP and 28 Nm of peak torque. The upcoming Royal Enfield Meteor 350 will offer more power than the Classic, but still lesser than the CB350. Meteor will get a highly revised 349cc air-cooled engine of Classic, which will help it produce 20.1 BHP and 28 Nm.
However, Jawa in this segment is the most powerful, producing 26 BHP and 27 Nm of peak torque. Unlike the Classic and CB350, Jawa comes out to be a far better accelerating motorcycle. While the others are high on torque which will help them the other way round. The only other motorcycle that can match up to their power and torque figures is the Bajaj Dominar 250 which is a sports cruiser missing out on those chrome detailing.
Prices of Honda H’Ness CB350 starts at Rs 1.9 Lakhs (ex-showroom) which makes it around 6,000 costlier than the costliest variant of Classic 350. It will come in two variants, both having some colour and feature differences. Highlights of the CB350 include Bluetooth enabled instrument cluster, Bluetooth navigation, dual-channel ABS, LED headlamps, single-seat setup and much more.
