Here is a video of a Tata Nano that can be seen going through the rocky terrain of Manali Baracha La Pass, very easily.
While the Tata Nano may have been discontinued, it still has some fan following left. While its design was quirky and not appealing to many, it was a car that changed the auto industry of India. The owner tries to take his Tata Nano through the Baracha La Pass near Manali. As we all know, this is quite an adventurous road filled with small but powerful brooks and feet-tall stones. Not to forget the uneven roads surrounded by no civilization as such. However, this Tata Nano easily passed through this road.

You can see these videos, first, it goes through uneven roads. Then comes a small waterfall/brook, which the Nano can easily cross. Reminder, the hatch does not boast of a decent ground clearance. In this scenario, the skills of driver are more highlighting as we all know, Nano is not an off-roader.
Also, Nano is a rear-wheel-drive car which has its limitation when it comes to off-roading. Nano came with a 624cc two-cylinder MPFI engine that was good for 35 PS and 48 Nm of peak torque. While it was first equipped with a 4-speed gearbox, later, it got an 5-speed AMT gearbox as well.
The other RWD car that Tata had was Hexa, which was discontinued due to the BS6 norms. Rest of the cars right now are pure FWD, including the Harrier as well. When discontinued, prices of Nano started at Rs 2 Lakhs going up to Rs 3.34 Lakhs (ex-showroom), putting it in a competition with Maruti Alto and Renault Kwid.
