Maruti Vitara Brezza is the safest car from the Gurgaon-based manufacturer in India. Securing a safe 4-star safety rating, it scores even better than many other compact SUVs. Here is an example of how the SUV braved through a major accident and kept all the passengers safe, of course with some heavy injuries.
This accident happened in South India where the Maruti Vitara Brezza was reportedly travelling in a hilly area. It was loaded with 7 people inside, reportedly, which is already unsafe. The 7 people also included two children seated at the back. Following which, the driver reportedly lost control of the car on a turn.

The SUV rolled over 10 times at least while falling into a cliff. After nearly 100 feet, the car came to a stall when it had already rolled over 10 times. The car has been damaged completely including all the crumple zones, roof and pillars. It did not fell directly, which is the main reason that the lives of the passengers are safe. If dropped down directly, the car might have landed directly on the bonnet side or upside down.
All the 7 passengers including the children were reported safe. They came out with injuries, but importantly, all lives were saved. Thanks to the 4-star safety rating of Maruti Vitara Brezza, it aided in further safety of the lives. While there are many accidents of Brezza that show a negative side of it, but there are many positive outcomes of the SUV too.
Vitara Brezza gets a 1.5 Litre four-cylinder BS6 compliant petrol engine that produces 105 PS and 138 Nm of peak torque. Transmission options include a 5-speed manual gearbox and a 4-speed torque converter unit. Prices start off at around Rs 7.35 Lakhs going up to Rs 11.34 Lakhs (ex-showroom).
