Harassed Tata Safari Owner Dedicates His Channel To All Troubled Customers!

In a weird chain of events, the harassed Tata Safari owner has opened a YouTube channel for the people who are struggling with dealership frauds. We had reported earlier how this man got scammed by Dada Motors in Ludhiana. This dealership was already under scanner for scamming other customers in the past too. But Tata Motors refused to do anything about it. Then this Safari owner explained what happened with him through a series of YouTube videos with the evidence. The matter has still not been resolved. Meanwhile, he had decided to set up a platform where people can freely raise their concerns regarding any car company or dealership. This will persuade big carmakers to resolve the customers’ issues at the earliest to improve the overall ownership/service experience of car owners in India. Currently, the service experience of Tata Motors is in shambles and there are a ton of complaints. Here are the details of this new channel by the harassed Safari owner.

The YouTube channel is named “Question Mark?” to symbolise that car owners have the right to raise questions if something unusual or suspicious is happening with them. For instance, the video introduces us to a Safari owner in Gujarat. He has been struggling with the Safari as well. He received defective seat covers on day 1 of the delivery. After 4-5 days, he started experiencing many issues with the SUV. This includes wind noise in the cabin, brake noise, fit and finish issues in the sunroof and boot glass area. He took the car back to the service station to get all these basic issues fixed. However, after another 5-6 days, the problems started recurring. This time, there was an additional issue of steering being a bit heavy. He went to the workshop and they replaced the pump in the steering assembly.

After a few days, the AC of the car stopped functioning. He called the service station again and took the car there. Interestingly, they said that there was some low-pressure issue with the AC system and it has now been fixed. All this while, the issue of wind and brake noise was not resolved at all. The owner, naturally, was frustrated about these issues in a brand new car costing upwards of Rs 23 lakh. Then, suddenly, the steering got heavy while driving. On getting it checked again, it was found that the rubber near the tyres connected to the steering mechanism was damaged and the fluid kept on leaking from there. However, this time around Tata officials said that this was external damage and won’t be covered under warranty. The owner was quoted a bill of around Rs 32,000. But the owner had taken the pics of the underbody of the Safari before giving it up for service. There were no marks of any hit and there was no question of it getting damaged externally. To cover these things this harasses Safari owner has opened this YouTube channel for everyone to share their queries.
