Royal Enfield Himalayan Might Soon Get Three New Colours

Royal Enfield showcased the Himalayan with three new colours, including two dual-tones and a matte colour. In India, we could get the same colours soon.

Royal Enfield, at the EICMA 2019, showcased a bunch of custom motorcycles. Among them, was the Royal Enfield Himalayan as well in three new colour options. As of now, it already comes with three colours.

The Himalayan was showcased in Red/Black, Lake Blue/Black and a Matte Grey option. Including this, the Royal Enfield Himalayan will come in six colours, the latter three including Glacier White, Black and Sleet (Camouflage).

We are expecting the Himalayan in the new colours to be seen at the 2020 Auto Expo. The Himalayan is just going to receive a new BS-6 compliant engine and to jazz up things, RE might offer it in six colour options total.

Royal Enfield Himalayan gets a 411cc single-cylinder air-cooled engine, that produces 25 BHP and 32 Nm of peak torque, while mated to a 5-speed gearbox. With the inclusion of BS-6 engine, the power outputs are likely to remain the same but we can see a slightly better mileage.

The Himalayan sits on a half-duplex cradle frame making it more easy to handle. The suspension is handled by 41mm telescopic forks at the front and a mono-shock at the back. For braking, you get disc brakes at both the end with dual-channel ABS.

Royal Enfield has confirmed that it will launch its entire BS-6 portfolio at the 2020 Auto Expo. The Thunderbird, Classic and Bullet series will sit on a completely new frame that will be sturdier and lighter. All of them have been spied quite often, in their new avatar.
