Check out this highly modified Skoda Octavia VRS that gets all performance upgrades. The sedan is already the performance version of the regular Octavia.
Skoda Octavia VRS was launched in 2017 and at this Auto Expo, manufacturer launched Octavia RS. VRS gets a 2.0 Litre turbo-petrol TSI engine that produces 230 BHP and 350 Nm of peak torque, mated to a 7-speed DSG gearbox.
VRS can go from 0-100 km/hr in just 6.8 seconds and can achieve a top speed of 250 km/hr. At that time, it was launched for Rs 24.6 Lakhs with its on-road pricing coming up to Rs 30 Lakhs. The new model will be priced at Rs 36 Lakhs and its deliveries will commence once the lockdown is over.
However, we have found a Skoda Octavia VRS which is nearly 40% more powerful. It is a highly modified car, not with styling but with performance. With its same engine, this modified Octavia now produces 425 BHP worth of power. That makes it even popular than the 5.0 Litre V8 Mustang that produces around 395 BHP.

So, this Octavia VRS has modifications worth Rs 16 Lakhs, taking the total price up to Rs 46 Lakhs. It gets a Stage 3 ECU remapping, making it one of the rarest cars in India. Stage 3 engine cars are very difficult to maintain and also, difficult to modify in our country.
Further, it gets custom performance exhaust, ECS tuner and air intake mods done. To match up with the performance, it gets custom disc rotors, brake callipers and OEM alloy wheels. You don’t get it with the VRS but specially procured from Skoda Auto.
In the video, you can see when the guy accelerates hard, the traction control seems to be dying to put the car in control. There’s a bit of wheelspin felt but for a car of this performance, the levels of traction control also need to be revised.

There’s a good news coming with it. You can actually buy this car at Auto Best Imperio, Delhi. The modified VRS goes for Rs 26.75 Lakhs with a running of just 22,000 kms. Since it is one of the top-spec Octavia models, it is loaded with features to the brim.
